ABOUT US

Rob Robertson initiated the Winterfest Series due to interest in more quality horse shows in the off season. With the growing popularity during 2008 it was decided to host the Series again and it has recently been arranged to expand to two locations. Winterfest allows dressage, event, and hunter/jumper riders opportunities to continue development of younger horses, and gives riders and horses of all ages opportunities to practice during the low season.

The objective in operating these shows is to provide an opportunity for area riders and horses to compete and train in a casual and welcoming atmosphere, while running quality shows to give the best opportunity to practice, practice, ... develop, and enjoy the experience.

Rob is an experienced, knowledgeable horse person very involved with horses and the horse industry in numerous ways over many years, and brings that experience to benefit competitors and horses at the Winterfest Series shows.

• Show organizer of the new Springfest Hunter/Jumper/Dressage Show, Niagara Equestrian Festival, the Winterfest 2008 Series, and Primary hunter/jumper and dressage shows when managing another facility during Winter 2007.
• An Equine Canada and USEF Hunter/Jumper Course Designer for local to major shows around North America
• Director and executive, past and present, of industry associations (OHJA, OHTA, Cdn Eventing, EC)
• A long time competitor in the jumper ring, eventing to the World Championships level, plus some hunter classes and dressage shows along the way
